Yea man,is my birthday and you all should wish me Happy Blessed Birthday.This is year was a bit special as it was my 21st Birthday with Ivan,thus we celebrated it twice.The 1st time was on the 23rd of August in Penang and the second time was at our individual places on the actual date.

Special thanks to my parents for helping me in organising this wonderful day.

I got a lot of present and I am very happy about it,thanks to all of my friends and siblings for the present.I did took a picture of all the presents but I left it in Penang.Sorry..Now back here in Kuching.I got a very good present and I am very happy about it.I choose it myself,although I wanted a black n blue one,but could not get them.Thanks to Ervivn,Sam,Hubert,Robin,Kevin,Ming Ngi and Su Chi for the present.

This is a life time experience as me,Shaun,Ivan,Amon and Odri went for this spectacular match with unbelievable fans.The crowd is really crazy as you can see how they are supporting their own teams.

As you can see that the wholse Shalam Stadium is packed..

Obviously,this was the line up of the day.

It was indeed a great time and a wonderful experience.Well,one day I will be watching live in Stamford Bridge...Haha

Thanks for every reader of this blog that have been keeping it surviving.But most of all is that I would to walk in God's will and way,this was the main reason of me starting this blog.To always remind myself that everything happen for a reason and I must always seeks God's will and way.

Yesterday's Sunday service was encouraging and God has once again show me part of His plans for me.I am not sure what exactly is it that He want me to do,but there is one thing that I am assure of.That is I need to prepare and equipped myself with the Words of the Lord.Joshua 1:8 shall always be in my heart and may I serve the Lord wholeheartedly.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

17th of May 2008..I was excited and happy as being an exchange student here in Australia I was given free ticket to watch a footy match beetween Geelong and Richmond at the biggest stadium in Melbourne - Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG).The ticket would cost 20AD if I would have to buy it myself.Footy is the biggest thing here in Australia as they do not watch football.

Waking up very early in the morning to have my breakfast and preapring to go out as I do not want to be late for the match.Raymond and Anthony decided not to go,thus their tickets was given to Alex and Tee Hiong.While we were walking out to take the tram I receieved an sms from my father which was indeed a sad news.

"PR LAZARUS TAN called home 2 b with d Lord late last nite.Funeral,wake service 8.30pm.Sat and Sunday.Funeral on Monday at 11am.All at BT GANTUNG.God bless"

I was so shock to see that message.In a suddent I lose all my mood for the match.I call back to M'sia immediately to ask how is everything.I really felt very sad that I was not in Penang to attain his funeral and wake service.After Ps.Reuben,he is the next person that have die of cancer that are closed to me.

I have know Ps.Lazarus for at lest 15years.Where he used to fetch me back from school and take care of me when I was young.I never like to eat fish when I was young as I was lazy to remove the bones,but he was the one that taught he how to eat them and I finally agree with it.

He first enter my life as a skinny,dark and dirty drug addict.But God has change his life totally that he have been a light around his community.What a wonderful instrument of God he has been.

I felt happy for him for having such a beautiful wife and daughter and pray that God will send more angels around them to protect and encourage them in this time of sorrow.

May my prayers and blessings continue to be with you and I love you.May you rest in peace with the Lord and God bless your family,Ps Lazarus...Amen.

Wow...It seems awhile ago since I last updated my blog..Well,I definately have a lot of things to share with you guys.

First is that I have been using my uni's apple macBook.This is because my laptop failed me with a HDD hardware failure.Thank God that the University provide such service.The troublesome thing is that I will have to renew them every 48hours,but this is definately better than not having one.As you all know that the laptop is my only enterrainment and at the same time is a must tool for me to complete my assignment.

2nd is about my Engineering Management presentation and final research report.I got to be honest that I was indeed very happy with the respond I got from the crowd.After the presentaion we surprised the whole class about what Malaysian can do.As we presented so much more better than the aussie.Got lots of compliments from my colleagues and lectures.Thank God.

3rd is about my Object-Oriented Programming in C++ assignment.I am very proud of my assignment as I can't believe that I was manage to make it work.It is a programme to estimate fish and shark population in the Ocean.Thanks a lot to Raymond in helping me to complete this assignment.It was really not easy and I spend so many mid-nights trying to get it work.

4th is my Finals which is just around the corner.Exam is coming soon adn of cause I need to work very hard so that I would not let those that have high hopes of me down.The standard here is much more higher than the one in Kuching.In a way it is good but is tougher as well.But Evan Khoo is build tough,so I must work hard and try my best.

Over here I would like to thank God for providing everything I need over here especially sending so many wonderful people into my life to help and support me(finaicially).Specaill thanks to both of my parents also and my siblings for their love,support and prayers..

Welcome to Australia

Well,my mum came to Melbourne to visit me and at the same time to visit around Melbourne as this is her first time coming to Australia.It was indeed a wondeful time together with my mum.

I brought her to many places in Melbourne like Sovereign Hill,Ballarat to visit the Gold mine city.It was indeed a nice place where you are being able to go back to the past and see how Ballarat(Gold mine city) used to be.Where there is combination of the Chinese,Australian and other nation.

Everyone staff of the "City" dress and live as if they were from the past with the houses and equipment used as same in the past.

There is so many other places that me and my mum go together to see and experience the life and culture of an Australian.Not going to put them all up as I have limited bandwidth for my Internet,but will post some nice one.

As you can see that this is the city of Melbourne.

Behind my mum is the famous Yarra River and some other famous tourist spots like Eureka and Crown casino.

I assume this to be my mum's favorite place as she spend 3 hours there and bought a lot of things there as well.The place is call Queen's Victoria Market.

This is one of the place that my mum requested to go as well.Is the Immigration museum of Victoria.

See that tram?That is the tram that has been bring us around while my mum is in Melbourne.Of cause we do take the bus and train as well.North Bawlyn is the suburb I leave.

The results of my first test is out and I am happy with the results(7/10) as I did better than I expected.Glory to God.My final examination time table is also out which I am quite happy with it and is already time for me to work harder and smarter to achieve the best results that I can.I am really looking forward in my return to Malaysia.Really miss everything in Malaysia.May God continue to lead me and may I still be kept in your prayers.Thank You everyone and God bless.

It has been 2 months since I left Malaysia for Australia.Things has change a lot for me here in Melbourne as like what we said - The only thing that is not changing in this world is that nothing stop changing.About my house mates,things are getting better after I BOMB Darren(that piece of shit).After that incident only I realized that actually I am not the only person that dislike him,in fact it was everyone in the house,the thing with them is that they do not have the guts to speak out.So they just silently say things or curse him behind his back.But for me,I do not do that I just directly say it to his face.So now things are like his enemies = my friends.But honestly,now I really pity him,cause everyone dislike him and always try not to involve him in a lot of stuff.After that BOMB he will now only ask other people to help him to do things,as for me?He would not anymore.I think it is best to keep it that way and do not cross the line.

People that I thought I can always hang out with have also seem to change.We are all
now busy and doing our own stuff and do not have time for each other anymore.Well,I guess it is just not easy to maintain a friendship.

For my studies it is really busy.The requirement for the assignment here is so much more tougher than the one compared in Kuching.But honestly,I can learn more things that way.I really missed Penang food and I have been dreams about food.I am really desperate to go back and eat as much as I can.

I am still not working as it is not easy to get a part-time job.Most of them prefer a full time worker.I believe that God will have the best plan for me and He will definitely drop money from the sky for me.Amen!!!Haha

So far the only thing that I bought was a pair of sunglass for my father and one more pair for me and one more sleeping pants.Thats it that I have spend.As everything here is just so expensive.How good if I have unlimited cash..Haha

Brighton Beach

This is the second beach that I have go to in Melbourne,but I will say that St.Kild beach is still better and nicer than this.We went there on a afternoon Sunday after church service on Easter day.
The famous thing about this beach is of the small little huts where is rent out and you can have your small little house over there.

Edwin and myself is the only person that got wet and jump into the sea as it is so cold,but is quite fun and relaxing despairs the cold weither.The other two "ang mo" is people that we do not know,but just came in and wanted to take some photos with us.

Moomba Festival

Me,Anthony,Karen,Adeline,Kevin and Edwin join the Moomba(water) festival that is a happening thing in Melbourne each year. They have all the fun fair games which I find it more creative compared to the ones in Malaysia and of cause they have all the crazy stuns as well. Well,is called a water festival thus there is surely some water presentation,but sadly non of the photos turn up well,so I decided to upload none of them.

There is actually a place for you to get some water to drink and it is free.Is not only for this fair,but you can actually find them in most of the places in Melbourne.

Aaron Tan told me that he is going there as well,but we could not meet up as we have our own friends with us as well.So I say I will spot him among the 30,000 crowd which he said it was immpossible.But believe it or not.I actually manage to find him by just searching for anyone that is in grey..LOL

I just got back from church as usual. Today morning when I wake up to take my breakfast (alone) I spend five minutes day dreaming and few people cross my mind - Kelvin, Penny, Han Chuan, Shaun and Ivan. No offence to those that did not appear in my mind, it does not mean that I do not treasure our friendship. I suddenly wonder that how well if I was not doing things all alone in this house and can we actually live together? Will we as friend end up quarrelling by leaving together? I am not sure about that and honestly I doubt that will happen and it should be a wonderful thing if we are staying together. 5 years back, we can share everything and talk about anything together, but why not now? Is it because we have grown up and we set a hollow wall against each other to break down the communication signal? We believe that things are better to keep unknown than being known? Or is it because we forgot one basic rule of a friendship – effort. I believe that it takes efforts to maintain a close friendship, but we lack doing it.

I do not know how Ivan can stand it,but I can't take it anymore.I need to go back to Penang.Can someone help me?Can I place an order here?I will be arriving KL at 7pm,so I am not sure what time will I arrive Penang,but I think most probably will be supper. I want 2 roti canai,1 roti bawang,1 roti telur and 1 mutabak ayam for supper and big pao and lo mai kai for breakfast the other day. Mee goreng, Hokkien Mee and ice kacang for lunch.Curry me and Soya Bean for tea.'zu cha'(the one opposite tai lok mee) for dinner and walk across the road after that to bungkus 'tai lok mee' for supper.Will contine eating non-stop again for the rest of the day.I miss the food man..haiz...Although I did tried Veitnamese food,Inodesian food and had the biggest burger in my life before,but it can still never beat Penang's food.It is the best man..

This burger cost me around 10AD,I spend Adeline and Kevin to eat as well where they order other kinds of burger.In total it cost me around RM100..Haha.But I do not mind since both of them always cook for me to eat.

So if anyone can take and post my order for me then there will be rewards given to them.Thank you

My Daily Routine

It has since been one month I am over here in Melbourne,Australia.How was my life actually been?To be honest I was never happy to be at home and you guys should know the reason.Thus I choose to spend most of my time in university compared at home.My day begins with myself having my shower then my breakfast. The usual time that I wake up will be 830am and will leave the house to catch a bus at 930am.

There is only two choice for my breakfast.It is bread with peanut butter, butter or nutella.

Or my breakfast can be like that.But a coffee was a must everyday in the morning.

This is the bus stop where we will be waitng for our bus.

This is how the bus looks like and see how nice and clean it is if you would want to compare it with the one in Malaysia.

This is were I will take my train that will stop at Glenferrie Station(which where Swinburne is). I can take the same way back home as well and it is save of energy and time(30mins). But what if I choose not to?

I will have to walk for 15mins and take 3trams in order for me to reach Glenferrie Station.This is because the bus service will stop operating at 6:10pm and will not be providing any service during weekends.As I do not want to go back so early,so I will need to take the tram back.

After going back home I will usually take my dinner,bath then watch a movie and sleep.The movie is to make me sleep so I spend 4 nights to finish one movie..haha.

Turning Point

To be honest to everyone I am actually not happy leaving with my house mates at all.But I am already getting used to the messy and the laziness of them.For example is like throwing the socks every where and always putting their things on my "table"(cupboard top) and not washing the dishes after taking using them any time of the day.Things are getting better with them,but the only problem I have now is with Tee Hiong and Darren. Tee Hiong is okay guy,but the problem is that he really depends on mood,when he is in a good mood then everything is fine,but when he is in a bad mood he can just do whatever he wants or say whatever he wants without bothering about others.I am not saying this alone as Alex(the another roommate) also have been complaining about him that way.Doing things like playing game or shifting his things very early in the morning(7am) where are all still asleep and being awake by the noise produce by him.Darren is the worst among all,and is not only me but others as well.He is very bossy and he always wants things in his way.He thinks that he is always correct and his solution is always the best.

The rest of them is giving me less problem now as I already told them that do not aspect me to spend a lot of money here and stop buying so many things.This is because they really love spending money and have been spending a lot earlier which I really do not like.

Yesterday was a bad day for me.Tee Hion really make me very unhappy and same goes to Darren.I just ignore them yesterday and I wanted to find someone to realize my frustration,but sadly there was no one for me to talk to.But after cooling down then a lot of things and words was flashing through my mind while I was lying on bed.Words that I have been telling Janis and others,but yet not really applying it myself.

So I came to a point where I think I need to "Preserved under trial and gain the Crown of Life".Thanks for what Janis and Cecilia has been telling me also to Love my neighbor as myself.So I will just have to change my angle of seeing things and hopefully things will be better for me and them and that I can continue to enjoy my life here in Melbourne.

What a wonderful God I have

I just want to share with you guys how a wonderful God we have.Our God is and has been blessing me abundantly.First is that He bless me with a business class service when I am on the plane and it was wonderful man.Food all the way.If I can drink,I would have been drinking non-stop.Second is that Aunty Sharon gave me a call saying that she will be paying for my rental,which mean I am staying for free now.Thank God!Third is that I got to know a Penang guy(he is working for a Germany airline) that is leaving Melbourne and heading for China.So he left and gave me his bed,mattress,pillow,bolster,winter blanket,vacuum machine,over,cooler,cupboard,2 mugs,phone card,iron and ironing board.It was so wonderful man.I have been bless with so many things.Fourth,Elaine call me saying that she got some winter clothing and a mug for me.Yes!I need not need to spend money buying winter clothes already.Fifth,my shoe is torn and i went to smith street to search for a new pair of shoes.But it was to expensive,it is around 100AD,so I think I just have to wear slipper until my mum come over,but guess what happen?Jolin called me saying that she is going back to Malaysia.Thats cool so she can bring my shoe for me.Yeah!Save money again...Haha.Thank God and I believe if you look at your life carefully you will realise that God is blessing you as much as He is blessing me now.Jehovah Jireh!!!

Noob Housemates

This is the person that found the house,his name is Darren and to cut the story short he is just a noob and love eating shit.His face resemble a poo of shit.

From left is Henry.He is a fine guy,is just he is abit lazy in washing dishes and do not help in cooking and washing.Rich man sons,so what to expect. Then next to him is Welly,which is from Indonesia.I am ok with him except always not washing the plates and bowls he used.He love to leave them in the basin until someone wash it for him or he shall wash it when he want to use.Then it is Alex.He is a very messy guy,like throwing things here and there and hardly help in cleaning up.

From left is Alex then Tee Hiong(in brown).He is also another messy guy,my another roomate.See the photos in "My nest in Australia" and you can know how he leave his things.He always want to buy good stuff and do not like to go for cheap stuff.At the far end is Jeepin.Quiet guy and staying in the same room with Welly.His attidue?Roughly the same like Welly.

Overall about them is that they like to play and play and play again.Spend a lot of money on things and want to buy a lot of things which I always reject and I do not care whether they like it or not.You guys might be rich,but not ME!

My Nest in Australia

There is actually seven of us staying here together,but it is not crowded at all as the place is quite big.The only problem is that there is only one toilet and one bath room.So we just need to make sure we wake up at different time then everything would be just fine.I am actually sharing with two person in a room,so there is 3 of us in one room.

Morninton trip for the MALAYSIANS

This another trip that is organize by the University,but this time it is free,compared to the previous trip which cost us 34AD.These trip is only for Malaysian student so it was a bit more fun as we can get to know each other(earlier times we just hello and bye).We went to three places on these trip.That is to Morninton Side seeing,Strawberry farm and wine testing(different place).

I love the view man,it is so nice.The scenery was really very beautiful.

These are the people that I only talk to during the trip..LOL

This place was a port before and is now using as a training group for the army troops,but of cause it is over the fence not where we are going to walk to.Now let the journey begin..Go!Go!Go!

This tomb was found up there and it was build in memory of Harold Edward Holk P.C, C.H (One of the PM of Australia) He was last seen here and was never been found again.

See how beautiful it is.

The different thing about here is that their strawberry's are at low lever,whereases our strawberry's in Cameron is hight up and ours taste so much more sweeter than theirs.

Healesville Santuary Visit

On the first Friday of my arrival here,we were taken on a trip to see
the wild life animal of Australia and was taken for wine testing as
well.People who came along are all here for one semester only as they
are also on exchange programme.But of cause not all of them are from
Malaysia.We have people from Mexico,Hong Kong,Japan,England,U.S.A and
etc.We did not really talk to them and we as Malaysian stick with each
other closely again...Haha

Mindy,me and Karen is the only Malaysian there as Anthony&Raymond did not want to go.

The Heart of Melbourne

I will need to take around an hour tram to come to the city.The city is really very beautiful and nice.The design of each building is so unique that i just feel like taking a picture of everyone of them.

I do not know what building was that but it is very nice and I love it.Beside me is Mindy and her sister(I forget her sister's name only meet her ones).

Behind me is an Information Building where you can go in and ask anything you want about Victoria.Just imagine how big and nice it is if you want to comapare the one in Malaysia..haha

This is the Victoria State Library and my statue will be replacing it five years from now stating - "EVAN ALMIGHTY"..haha

Orientation in Swinburne Australia Feb 2008

Here is some photo of the orientation.As it is the orientation week,there was free lunch every day throughout the week and dinner on Friday.The food was wonderful. There was like Indian food,burgers and hotdogs,pizza,baked potato,paste and cheese cakes etc.I missed some of them as I got classes or I did not know.But over all I have been having free lunch for these two weeks.It was so cool and so much more better than the Sarawak Campus's orientation.

This is given by a bank called "Commonwealth Bank"...Looks cute leh..haha.

There was some music going on during the orientation.I am not sure what music was that but it was nice the rythem was harmony and wonderful.I love them.

There is me,Raymond,Karen(white) and Mindy(blue).We are all from the Student Exchange Programme.One more is Anthony which is not in the picture.

The Differences

There is really a big differences between Malaysia and Australia.And I am here to share with you people about them.First will be the transportation system.The tram,train and bus here is so convent.As you can just go almost anywhere you want by first purchasing the tram card.It is really very good as I will need to walk for 10mins and take 3 trams to reach my university.So that will cost me around an hour to directly reach Swinburne.

2nd is about the enrollment.It only takes me 15mins to enroll myself into my course and only 3mins to get my student ID done.But what is the case in the Sarawak Campus?Is awful man.It takes you hour for the enrollment and takes you two weeks to get your student ID and with the stupid validated sticker on it done.

Now is about the class room and facilities.The class room is big and nice with high-Tech stuff and of cause the facilities are so much more better than the one compared in the Sarawak Campus.Each course is having their own building and there is another 4stories of library as there is around 15K of students(total of 3campus).The other 2 campus is quite far from here.What I am happy about is that they have what a university needs.But the Sarawak campus is just a small building and they still call themselves a UNIVERSITY.What a joke man..Haha

The Lecturers here are good as well(at the moment).Now this thing is where we Malaysians can beat them.That is the food.The food here is so expensive.It will cost you at least 8AD for me meal,which is around RM24.But it is quite cheap if you would have to buy fresh food and cook them yourselves.

Oh ya,the weather here is of cause very nice in the day with around 22-25.But it is very cold in the night where I need to wear my jeans to keep myself warm or I will be freeze to death.

I am now in Melbourne,Australia...Haha.There is just too many things to say on how the things are over here.I will be having my Internet connection by next time,and I will upload phots and tell you more about the life here.So far it is very nice here and the people here are still okay to me(there are not that racist as I thought)and I hope that it will carry on. The Biggest Mistake

Haiz...I can never believe this happening to me.But before I continue saying things I would just like to share something with everybody,that is I never like sitting on planes.This is because I can never forget my first time sitting on the plane.I remember I was around 10years old when I first get on to the plane.It was a bad one,me and my bro(Ivan) was nausea for at least 5 hours after the flight.Since then I build up a fobia on plane.

Okay,so here goes the story.Before flying off from Penang.My mum is reminding me that I need to talk a aerotrain to KLIA after coming down from the plane.So after arriving at KLIA(which I am actually on the place where I need to be,all I need is to take a lift to the 5th floor) I start searchng for a place for me to take a train.So I asked a Malay girl at the counter and she pointed me to the lift,I asked her again that I want to sit an International flight and she said "yaya".So I saw a sign saying that "KLIA Express at G Floor",so I went to the ground floor and sat the train and left for KL sentral which is a totally wrong place.This mistake cost me RM70.After realizing my mistake I quickly rush back to KLIA.Making alot of calls and prayers on the way hoping that I will not missed my flight.But unfortunaly the time I reached there,the counter was already closed.I tried talking and asking for mercy,but end up what I get was a 'NO'.

Wah,it was a panic and stress time.After I know that I can't get on to the plane,I really feel like crying.It was such a big mistake,how can I do such a mistake.Costing me all this trouble and disaster.

So you guys must be guessing where am I now.I am now in Nilai College with my bro(Shaun).Will be staying here until Sunday(Had changed my flight to Sunday).It cost me a penalty of RM200,it can actually be more but thank God that it was not more than that.

Please keep me in prayers and no problems will happen again while I am in Sydney airport as I have a transit at Sydney airort to Melbourne.Hope that my luggage can also safely go through the custom.

I actually cut my finger while I was cutting my nails.It was just a small matter so I did not really bother about it.But "nana" start to flow out from the wound after two days.In total in burst for 3times with the nana and blood flowing out.So I though that it will get better,but it end up worst.The whole finger was red and swollen, so I went to see a pharmacist(is cheaper).Gave me some medicine and I used them,wrap up the finger by myself as well.And guess what?The whole finger is like starting to rot and become very red like Chinese New Year..haha.I find difficulties to write which worries me as my finals is coming soon.So please pray that it will get well soon.Thank you.

Just got back from the Officer Retreat Camp of 8th Kuching Company.It was quite fun,but a bit wasted as there was nothing much done as it was raining.The only good thing is that at least me and Julian is being able to catch some fish and prawns.But sadly all of mine is dead.The reason of death was because the fishers and prawns was curious about what is there in my room.So I think we should change the phase form "curiosity kills the cat" into "curiosity kills the fisher and prawn"

I join The Amazing Race organize by the young people in Trinity Methodist Church.My expectation was that people around my age will join,but it end up that my group was actually the oldest..Haha.But overall I did have fun.We have to complete certain task and of cause it was important to be the 1st group to reach certain place like what you saw on tv.We did not win anything,but it was quiet fun.

People in my group was me,Yakub,Samuel and William and our driver was Melissa(she is not in the picture)

Let me just introduce some things that we did.The 1st thing that we are ask to do was to take a picture at a church in a "Fruit road".It was actually Chin Fu Methodist Church.I know that place well as I go there every week(It is where 8th Kuching is).The picture is what you see above.

Next we are ask to go to a place which is actually called "Taman Sahabat". The park was being built up to represent the friendship between Malaysia and China.

We were ask to go and do some bowling,where the top five groups will be able to get additional points.

Swinburne is now organizing another Amazing race where the 1st team will get RM300,but I think I would not join as I already registered for the Public Speaking Competition.This will give me a chance to win money as well...Haha.But I am not putting to much hope on this la.Getting the 3rd placing will just be enough to make me happy.

Everything just seem so nice and perfect on today...Haha...

1st is I am able to recover my lost file which is actually a total of 10G. I downloaded a whole series of "The W-file" and save it into my external hard disk.But unfortunately my whole external drive was corrupted and I am force to reformat it so I lost all the file..But thanks to Raymond that he gave me a software to recover lost file and it actually works!!!I need not need to re-download again.It actually took my around 3 weeks to finish download the whole series and I have not watch it.Will be watching it tonight.

2nd,I wanted to booked my air ticket to Kota Kinabalu on the 1st of December,but because I have to wait for Yakub I end up missing the chance on booking on that day so I have to delay it to the 7th of December.While I was booking half way I actually failed and realize that actually someone purchased it faster than me..haiz....I was so pissed off.But thank God that after a few hours Air Asia released more cheap flights again.And of cause I manage to purchase it fast enough this time..Haha.Thank God..So to everyone.I will be meeting Han Chuan on the 7th in KK and will fly back to Penang directly on the 13th after visiting him.

3rd,I was told yesterday by the student administrator that I will have to entertain an interview today.I was so happy that I am at least being able to qualify for the interview.Glory to God also that I manage to answer and do well in the interview.I can see that they are very impress with the way I am selling myself and now I can just hope to receive good news from them soon on my transfer.By the way it is an interview for the student exchange programme to Melbourne.

4th,I got back my last week Structure of Mechanics test and I actually did not expect very high marks, but I still thank God that I was able to get 9 out of 10..Hope to continue on with my hard work and do well in my studies to Glorify God..Amen!!!

I am now a part of the 8th Kuching Company in Sarawak.So far I am still enjoying myself and teaching the 1st year boys drill and I got to be honest that I am very steek..Haha. But I always wanted to do that since I was in 13th Penang.Is just I was not given the chance. I really thank God for giving me the chance to teach drill now in 8th Kuching Company.I was actually introduce and brought to this Company by Lt.Julian.He is the officer in charged of the senior section and the drill officer of the company as well.Another thing that I hope to go is the BB conference which will be held in Sibu, but sadly the conference will be during my final examination. But maybe God will allow it to be delayed...Haha.By they way,I am still continuing with my Robbert Davies Award.

Haha...Me,Evan Khoo manage to conquer the highest hill in Kuching..Haha..It was not easy as the path was hard to work and it was tiring.It even rain half way,but we still manage to finish the race..Yeah!!!The view up there was nice when we reach the summit.We were actually able to view the whole Kuching.It was actually the military's communication tower.Thats why there are four huge dog guarding there with them.It all I had fun,but it was not as easy as I thought.

Me,Samuel,Ervin and Samantha went to Kuching Stadium to watch the match Chelsea played with Bayern Munich.It was an entertaining match.Chelsea did Superb throughout the match,but sadly the scoreline was 1-1 and Chelsea was eliminated from The Champions Youth Cup.Now here is the best part.As it was the under 18squad,so I did not really know the players,but there is one player that i know.His name was Shaun Cummings.The Chelsea players begin to throw the jersey at the crowd at the end of the match.I was so disappointed that they only throw at one section,but not my section.I keep shouting for them,but they just did not bother.The worst part was to see all the stupid M getting the jersey.The M was the one scolding the Chelsea's player throughout the match,but when it come to getting their jersey the M was there shouting and saying they love Chelsea.How stupid and BODOH there are.Suddenly Shaun start walking to the crowd and he was heading to the other section.Ishz...I was so pissed.So I ask Samuel and Samantha to help me shout out for his name and guess what???He actually heard us,so he came to us.YES!!!I was so happy..He threwed his jersey towards us..Hahaha.But the shirt drop on Ervin's hand and of cause he gave it to me.

We had a lot of fun together playing in the sea.It was since awhile we gone so crazy..Haha..I really regret that we can't go out station and have a longer trip. It was a bit pity that only so few of us was able to join in this stay.Well, but over all I still enjoy myself, except being potong on our dinner in end of the World.

Ervin and Samuel followed me back to Penang as plan.Well..of cause the first day we did after coming down from the plane was to have our "dinner" where we ate a lot of different kind of food with my family. That was just so wonderful. We went to Genting Highlands together as well.

We stayed at first World Hotel. This photo was not taken in our hotel. I only play those game that help me to win something..Haha..Ervin and Sam went to play the outdoor games,but I did not follow as I am not really into it.

After coming back from Genting, I brought them to some places in Penang like 1-stop, Queensbay Mall, Gurney Plaza etc. We even went to Penang Hill together with Handson and Louis.

Three of us bought a Superman shirt together which is quite gay,but fun as well..Haha

We went to redbox together with my sis Janis as well, where we sang until all of us was so tired and lost our voice.Lol..I think thats all.But overall I think Ervin enjoy the food, but not Sam.View Ervin's blog if you want to know more about the food.
And I really hope our friendship will last no matter where God will lead us to in the future.

I stayed at Ervin's house on the night I came back then went to school with him the other day.Had a whole long hour class from 8:30am-1:30pm without any break in between.I have another 3 hours from 3:30pm-6:30pm..This is really crazy,but thank God today the lecturer is on leave.Or else I will be tired till death.I spend 4 hours cleaning up the whole house which is full of dust. Thanks to the stupid plumbing system which is clog,my kitchen was flooded and I have to do extra work..There is still some of my past semester's notes and book where I throw aside and only plan to tidy them up tomorrow as I think I already had enough for the day.

Debate Competition...Yeah!!!

First of all I would like to thank God for helping me to win two title in the Swinburne 2007 Debate Competition- The Best Novice Debater(RM50) and The Champion in the final(RM100). It was really unexpected as it is my first time debating in university so professionally. I got to remember my role,argument and my rebuttals. It is not as simple as what I did in high school as it is totally different. The whole competition consist of- Opening Government(OG), Opening Opposition(OO), Closing Government(CG) and Closing Opposition(OP). Each of them consist of two members. From the first round until the final I was changed from one position to the other. Me and Nick(my partner) was OO for the 1st round, CG for the 2nd round, OG for the semi final and CG for the final. So as you can see my role in the competition has been changing and each of them have different role.I did not really do well in the semi,but thank God that we manage to go through it into the final. Well ones again all the Glory to God and may God continue to bless me and you..

It was raining for around an hour.I hit the road immediately after the rain, heading back home. I knew the floor was slippery so I was going quite slow.Seeing the traffic light turning red i started to slow down,but a car make a sudden turn into my lane,so I have to apply a sudden break.And guess what happen?My bike slide on the road..I quickly jump and throw off my bike.Thank God that there was no in coming traffic or I will be heading for other place instead of heading home.Don't worry,Evan is still as strong as platinum..LOL...Thank God..

By looking at the hierarchy, we(human) is below God followed by animal and plants. Is it able 4 you to over power or being smarter and more knowledgeable to the stage that is above you? Let’s take any example and discuss about it. We human are the species that is concurring and over powering the animals and plants. It is sometimes impossible for the animals to understand what we humans are doing. Animals aren’t able to create any Law of physics to proof anything about human. And you know what? All of these things are just what human is trying to do. Human are trying so hard to find God and even trying to us the Law of Physics to proof God, but it all failed. We are just like the animals not being able to fully understand God’s plan and love for us. We always want to see proof before accepting something from him. But what did God say…

It is finally over.I was so stress out out this test..Haha..So many things to do(tutorials) and so many concept to understand.Now that i have finish my MOS test,I have to continue to study and catch up with my Electronic System and Engineering Maths 2.There is just no time for rest,of cause there will be a bit lah...Haha.There is still 4 reports and 2 presentation waiting for me to do them.Wow...I also don't know whether can I finish in time.But I know with the grace of God and the prayers I get,I will surely excel in my studies(Sorry for being a bit boastful)...Hahaha.

I did not really did well in my test,will let you guys know the result when i get it...It was not an easy paper,but honestly there was a bit lack of time,not much time for you to slow down and think.Well it is over and i will just up hold it in prayer.That is all for now, and I will be going back soon...Yeah!!! I am now frequently attending Trinity Methodist Church which is nearby my house. The people there are great and nice. I am also attending their Cell group which is quite fun. Playing guitar for them now.The church are planning to start a music band that are mobile,which mean this band will travel around to use music to spread the Gospel and worship God. By the grace of God that I am now also a part of the group,so please pray that this band can really bless others and give Glory to God alone,but not Glory to the musicians. Nothing has actually really establish, but meetings and plans are coming up.So do pray for this.Thank You..

Thousand apology for not updating myself for sometime.The reason was because someone manage to hack into my account and I was not able to sign in again. just when I thought of redoing my entire blog then my friend taught me a way to get it back, and I think you people have already know whether did I success or not.Thank God.

I have already finish my 1 week of holiday and now there wont be any holiday for me until my Final Exam...Haha.After that I will be back to my Home Sweet Home.I wont be going back alone this time.Do not simply think,I am not bring any girls back with me.But two of my close friend from Kuching.1 is Ervin and the other is Samuel.This two is the one that I spend most time with and it will be great if I can introduce then to you.

So far I have already had 1 test since coming back from my holidays.The result is still not out yet,and I will let u guys know when it is out..I hope it will be good..hehe.I will be having another test(MOS) on this coming Thursday. It wont be easy for me,so please continue to keep me in your prayers.

I have to admit that I have a wonderful time with my mum here in Kuching when she visited me. As like what you can guess, she will be cooking and preparing this and that for me. I can see that she was extremely exhausted, but that did not stop here from doing anything and this is what we call LOVE. She prepared a BBQ for me n my friend as well. I just have some regret that we did not take any picture. Especially doing the BBQ time. I am indeed looking forward for the time where the Khoo Family will gather back again in Penang. By the way, my mum said she did not worry about me as she know i can take care of myself. Look how independent i am...haha. Now is the time for me to study my MOS. So good bye for now..

This is our robot..haha.It is actually not completed yet.The main purpose of doing things is to programmed it to identify the right things and collect it. We will be having a competition among our class to see whose is the best. The winner will be given extra marks for the subject. This is how it is going 2 work. There will be red and blue items on the floor and whoever who collects the most red item and bring it back to the base shall be consider the winner.Sounds interesting ah?hahaha

Well,today is Easter day and it is a Pubic Holiday over here in Kuching. So the only thing that I did the whole day was Study. What a day..But the reason I am doing things is of cause for my own good as the time to catch up with what I have left out is limited and another reason was because I want to study everything finish before my mum is coming to Kuching(9/4)..Haha.We plan to have a BBQ on Tues and of cause nothing on Wednesday night as I will be having two crazy test on Thurs..Haiz..I hope that I will be able to master the few chapters that are going to be test on and of cause I hope to score the very best mark that I can..Haha. At the moment there is not much of assignment and report to hand in. For me I just left 1 report and 1 assignment. But of cause there is still tutorials to be done.Let me calculate and see, Em.....8 tutorials..haha.I don't know whether can i finish all of these in time during my mid-term break as usually we take 1 whole day or maybe 1 week to just finishing 1..It is not easy.But of cause I thank God for good study partners - Ervin, Anthony, Raymond and Victor(not so often). As we help each other a lot. Especially Raymond, he is the smartest among us all. 4HD last semester...haha. Thank God I know him.. Victor is also abother full HD guy. But of cause being there friend is not because I want to use them. Is just Raymond was the second person I know in Kuching..haha.Ok, need to go back to my MOS and ES tut..God bless everybody..

It has been 1 month since my return to the City of Cat..So far everything is still doing well. Thank God for His guidance and wisdom that I am being able to cope with my studies, but of cz there is still a lot for me to learn and I still need all of your prayers ans supports to keep me going. Now as I am going around with my super bike,please pray for my safety and of cz pray for my safety at home as well(I am still sataying alone)..As most of you all have realize that I am online for 24hours, this is because I have internet connection now and I just leave my laptop on the whole time to download stuff. Mainly is movie to watch. I have decorate my room and it is super nice, you guys might want to take a look. I wll capture some photos and show it to you guys next time. I think thats all for now.

Cell Group...

Now I am actually joning a cell group. The 1st time was fun. We did some sharing and the person in charge (Andrew) share some of God's word as well. It is something like the Sunday school in TLBC where Officer Onn used to teach, not this kind of Sunday school that we have now. The most surprising thing was somebody there actually regonised me, she said she went to study in Penang before and was in the same primary school with me. I was so surprise, but I really did not regonised her at all. She said she still remember was because I am a twice..haha. Twin Power again!!So everybody out there. U better because of us.

Hello everybody...I have already been in kuching for 10 days...I have already register a phone line and will get my stremayx roughly 10days from now.Afther dat we can online and play games....haha.I have also already test ride my bike...haha...It will cost me RM650. I will be able to get it around next week. And another thing is i got a job in a guitar school..haha. They will pay me RM60 per student. I will be start teaching next month with a 3 months programme untill i see you all again in Penang..Thats all for now..God bless and please keep me in prayers.

It was awhile since i check my mails or even updating my blog. Welcome everybody 2 visit my blog again. Today is my first day in Uni and in Kuching since my summer break. So far I only catch up with Ervin and Andrew, will be meeting the rest later. My room was very dusty and I only slept around 2am after cleaning up. I would like to thank Andrew alot as he offered to help me and he indeed help me until around 11:30pm. Ervin did offer as well, but I did not accept as he has been helping me alot. I really thank God for blessing me with this kind of friends and I hope it will grow and God will bless them as well. Sometime I really don't understand what I really need to do. It was raining very heavily and my laptop was open in aroom and I was on the phone, without realising the ceiling is dripping. At a sudden somebody shout out to me Evan! Evan! I ran there and saw my laptop soaking wet. Immediately I powed all the water out and wipe off the water and begin the blow it with a hair drier. While all this events is taking place there was somebody keep saying something beside me. In the beginning my ears was open and I was listening, but after hearing something dat person said, my heart sunk...Sunk into a deep deep deep well. At that moment I shut myself from the world and hundred of things cross my mind. You might be wondering how my laptop was, but hpnestly I was not really bothered about that anymore. I was not worry or sad about my laptop, but the words said kept ring at my ears....It actually hurt me more than the wet laptop... Since then I make a Prayer to God. Forgive me and make me the man that I should be...... All the doors was shut.My ears and heart was shut, only the door to heaven is open but I can't feel the Holy Spirit. I pray to God that He will ones again burn me and let me serve Him as a living sacrfice without a humble heart.........

Boring....Everyday juz coming to my working place and do nothng much is just so boring, but now at the moment that is pushing me to coninue is my salary...haha. I am just waiting until end of the month for my salary then I can enjoy on Feb..After all the enjoyment and fun then I am back to the Jungle. Will thinks b better that way for me? Is Penang going to miss me? I am just to free in my wrking place and alot of things just came into my mind. But I know that all I need to do is to trust Him. Trusting Him is alwiz the best choice and He will lead me according to His will and plans with the most wonderful things in Life. There are two seas in Palestine. One is fresh, and fish are in it. Splashes of green adorn its banks. Trees spread their branches over it and stretch out their roots to sip of its healing waters.
The River Jordan makes this sea with sparkling water from the hills. So it laughs in the sunshine. And men build their houses near to it, and birds their nest; and every kind of life is happier because it is there.
The River Jordan flows on south into another sea.
Here is no splash of fish, no fluttering leaf, no song of birds, no children’s laughter. Travellers choose another route, unless on urgent business. The air hangs heavy above its water, and neither man nor beast nor fowl will drink.
What makes this mighty difference in these neighbor seas? Not the River Jordan. It empties the same good water into both. Not the soil in which they lie; not in the country round about.
This is the difference. The Sea of Galilee receives but does not keep the Jordan. For every drop that flows into it another drop flows out. The giving and receiving go on in equal measure.
The other sea is shrewder, hoarding its income jealously. It will not be empted into any generous impulse. Every drop it gets, it keeps.
The Sea of Galilee gives and lives. The other sea gives nothing. It is named the Dead.

Family - go for a movie, a 1derful dinner at a restaurant and going for a vacation togehter...

I was so looking forward to dat day.I plan 2 take alot of photos, throwing people into the sea and have fun.But things wasn't day way.Yes,I did have fun,but I was aspecting more than that.We plaied game and I did sum sharing. Since Tze Yang start to call me "JIAO LANG"(Bird Man) then now everydody is calling me that.Even all the new members that join us also call me that way...Ishz...The reason why he call me that is because I just came back from Sarawak.Sarawak's Logo is a Bird.What a stupid way of calling me that..He is going 2 get from me.On that day as T.J went with us,he kept on stop me from throwing people into the sea,so end up nobody was wet..So boring..Haiz...Richard!!!If u are reading this u better becaeful.It took me a long time to wash off all the sand on my head and between my hairs.Thank to richard and a stupid girl..I duno her name.A day for my revenge will come.I will ATTACK ur weak point..haha! We did not take alot of picture.The person that I wanted to take piture with was not really in a good mood so we end up not taking.,Haiz...Well I belive there are still many chance to take picture,but we have missed the chance to take at 6/1/07 and there is no more chance as we can turn back the time. Marvell Sdn. Bhd. is now wear I am working as I clerk.Honestly I find it kind of boring as there is always no work for me to do.For an example was my 2nd day(4/1/07).I came the office at 8am.Sat there doing nothing until 9am.Then I was ask to help to file up sme documents.Finish it in 30mins then there was again nothing for me to do.I kept ask my boss whether there is anything for me to do and he will just say wait.Now is already 12pm.So u can imagine me doing nothing since 9:30am.I almost fell asleep..So to prevent that I end up check main and online and even updating my blog...haha.

First of all is Merry Christmas to evrybody out there although it is quite late..hehe.Em....How did I celebrate my christmas???Of cz this year was different as Ivan is not around and Patches and janet are around...haha.

The main thing was this year i hve less present compared to last year =< But I am much happier as I have a better present - FRIENSHIP.I thank God for that as He had bless me with the most wonderful people around me and of cz the most wnderful parents, siblings and spouse(on the way..but duno when)...

I thank God alot as it is not the present that matter,but it is the Gospel.On the 22th our caroling group when the a neighbourhood to sing christmas carol and wish people was we walk by thier house.It was good as they are able to feel the LOVE of God that gave us His Son to die n the cross for us.On the 23th we went to our church member house from 4pm until 1am...That was fun and tirying...haha.We sang,eat,talk,drink and lay through the whole evening and night.Isn't it cool..haha.Then on Christmas eve was our church dinner.Our table was quite mad coz we did not win any lucky draw gifts...Haiz.....But we did make aot of noise that night...haha.Now is Christmas day...Hohoho..We celebrate christmas togehter at church by having a chistmas party.It was fun.Imagining me playing until I took off my shirt...haha.Then of cz we took alot alot of pictures on the 24 and 25th...

Well,I think that is it for Christmas day and I do hope it will be getting more and more fun each year..

Sorry for not updating my blog for so long.It was bcz i am busy catching up with things in Penang.The best food in the world.The best people that I always come to touch with and of cz the best family and friends.Since my return to Penang,I realizi that so many things had change.1st is the traffic system,then the arrangment of things in my house,then people..Even me have changed.Everybody is saying that I am more fair and skinner(I lost 9kg) and most of all is I am more handsome...haha!It is true, this is all the compliment I received when I am back.

Alot of people seem to be different from last time(I duno whether is it good or bad).But of cz i am happy to be back and see all the familiar faces.SInce my return I have attended to funeral,I thank God that they both are now together with our Lord in a place where there is no sorrow but only laughther.

Afther all the eating I got myself into trouble by visiting the toilet very ofthen...Haha.I guess it is bcz Penang is a bit more dirty compare to Kuching.And I gain back the weight(4kg) I lost in Kuching as well...haha
